چکیده

The notion of quality in requirements speciications is poorly understood, although recent frameworks such as those of Lindland et al. and Pohl have tried to take a more systematic approach to the problem area. A major weakness of these frameworks is that they are on a high level of abstraction, and thus have little in the form of practical guidelines to ooer practitioners. Based on an extension of the Lindland framework this article proposes a set of process heuristics for guiding decisions in the requirement speciication process. Although the heuristics are incomplete, the framework has thus been brought a signiicant step closer to practical applicability

EPQ model with depreciation cost and process quality cost as continuous functions of time

Extensive research has been devoted to economic production quantity (EPQ) problem. However, little atten-tion has been paid to problems where depreciation cost and process quality cost must be considered, simulta-neously. In this paper, we consider the economic production quantity model of minimizing the annual total cost subject to depreciation cost and process quality cost, where depreciation...

Reening Formal Speciications of Human Computer Interaction by Graph Rewrite Rules

Human computer interaction can be speciied successfully using the concept of information resources and the formal notation of graph grammars. In order to achieve a precise and continuous specii-cation process between the requirements and design stages, however, a suitable strategy for reening abstract speciications into more concrete ones correctly and consistently is highly necessary. In this ...

Optimal design of cross docking supply chain networks with time-varying uncertain demands

This paper proposes an integrated network design model for a post-distribution cross-docking strategy, comprising multi product production facilities with shared production resources, capacitated cross docks with setup cost and customer zones with time windows constraints. The model is dynamic in terms of time-varying uncertain demands, whereas uncertainty is expressed with scenario approach an...

Intent Speciications: an Approach to Building Human-centered Speciications

This paper examines and proposes an approach to writing software speciications, based on research in systems theory, cognitive psychology, and human-machine interaction. The goal is to provide spec-iications that support human problem solving and the tasks that humans must perform in software development and evolution. A type of speciication, called intent speciications, is constructed upon thi...

Specifying Real - Time Requirements for SDL Speci cations

The expressiveness of many state-transition based formal description techniques, e.g. the ITU-TS standardised Speciication and Description Language (SDL), does not capture hard real-time requirements. In telecommunications systems engineering, hard real-time requirements, however, are an important class of properties. They occur in the description of progress properties in telecommunications pr...
